A Bit About Me

Everybody has a story, and that is what I love most about life. I love sharing stories that connect people and make us realize how very very small we are in the grand scheme of things. I've always been the creative type who thinks outside the box, and tends to bend rules (but never break them). I love pushing boundaries to find the perfect shot, the best angle, the highest mountain or the deepest valley. I'm an adventurer, a risk taker, an entrepreneur, a wife, and a mother of a family that will follow me pretty much anywhere my crazy legs will take us!

The Story

What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is Roaming in the Roots. My first job in marketing was with Polarn O. Pyret - a globally renown premium childrenswear brand, focusing on quality, sustainability, and getting kids outside. Since then, I have had many other clients as a Digital Marketing Manager; but PO.P shaped the person I am today. We are a family who enjoys an active, outdoor, lifestyle with our Australian Shepard - Bear. We believe in using sustainable products whenever and wherever possible. And are not afraid to get our hands dirty doing DIY projects in and around the home. And we love to travel into nature, and around the world sharing culturally diverse experiences with our kids.

We are the proud small business owners of BodyShock Fitness Studio in Westport, CT. My husband, Gerardo is a Master Personal Trainer, as well as a heart transplant recipient of over 15 years. As a nano-influencer, his Instagram/Tiktok community is a highly engaged, affluent following that looks forward to our daily postings on health, fitness, and ageless beauty.
